Ray Rice

Did Ray Rice just become a top 4 RB for many years to come?

With the impending release of Willis McGahee from the Baltimore Ravens, I believe that might just be the case. Over the past 2 seasons Rice has averaged over 1900 yards from scrimmage. This alone makes him a great back to own. His touchdown totals have been much less to brag about, averaging 7 TDs each season. Willis McGahee on the other hand averaged 532 yards and 10 TDs over the past 2 seasons. He is a beast at the goal line, but a big problem for Rice owners.

Well, not anymore. It looks like Baltimore is happy to give Rice a shot at some of those goal line carries. Le’ron McClain, Baltimore’s other fullback, is also set to leave in free agency. If Baltimore ends up with a young, inexperienced full back, get ready for Rice to gobble up some of those 500+ yards and 10 TDs. Do not be surprised to see 2000 all-purpose yards and 12-14 TDs from this kid for a number of years.
